I'm a bit late to the #fritillary party today, but better late than never I guess!

This is beautiful.

Love this. Mine get devoured by the red lily beetle

Thanks @sara2309 @MelanieAt - I suffer from the lily beetle too but not until it gets a lot warmer, and my lilies are just about to flower!

Nice one 😀 👍🏼

Thanks @richard.spicer.7906 😀

They emerge right when the lilies come out here. Grrrr.

Great shot 👍

Help me identify this plant - don't remember planting this charming little thing which appeared at the weekend! Bell shaped flowers are about an inch in length and hang from individual stems that are about 9 inches tall! #plantid

Looks a type of fritillary but I'm only going by shape of flower stem so could be completely wrong!!

@justin - Fritillary was what I initially thought but I didn't think they grew as tall as this! I've got quite a few popping up and definitely didn't plant them!

I think it's Fritillaria uva-vulpis

Stunner of a shot!

Thanks @tiggrx = Fritillary it is then! ☺️

Thank you @megjenner ☺️

Lovely pic!! #plantID #fritillary

Thanks @brightcolours 😄

Thanks @latebloomer - they must have come mixed up with some other bulbs as I didn't purchase them intentionally! I guess I got lucky! 😄

Oh that's a beauty 😍

I think so too @richard.spicer.7906 😄
Good evening GTers! This is the last of my fox grape fritillaries for the year! They were a complete surprise when they arrived and have been welcome visitors! #fritillary
