Helianthus annuus 'Velvet Queen'

Good morning GTers! Going back to last summer for #flashbackfriday when the beautiful blooms of #sunflower 'Velvet Queen' were gracing the garden! Have a fab Friday everyone! 😀

No way Ian, I got mine last year by I've still not planted any, maybe today will be the day 🤔🤔

@sieveheadsarah - I've got around 20 packets of different seeds to sow already, and only a small growhouse to start them off in Sarah! I've not sown any yet either but will be making a start next week! Maybe one packet of sunnies would fit in though? 🌻🌻🌻😀

That's a few more than I've got, I plan to sow 4 of each type that I have, I got rid of my greenhouse 2 years ago so use big grey tubs with greenhouse glass to cover. 😀

Okay, nothing to see here, just cataloguing some plants currently in my growhouse - this is a #sunflower 'Velvet Queen' #seedling - love the red edges to the leaves! 😀

Grew this last year, gorgeous flowers!
