Morning Ian, aren't they beautiful, my white one finished flowering before Christmas but my red one is still going. I'm going to see if I can collect some seeds from them 🌸👍
@pelly - Morning Jane! They're certainly beautiful and bring a welcome splash of winter colour! My white one didn't return last year unfortunately! 😀

Good morning GTers! It's #flashbackfriday Friday time, and this week I'm travelling back to last September with a shot of this #pink River Lily! Morning Ian I've not seen a river Lily before it's beautiful 😊
@angiecrazycatlady - Good morning Angie! They certainly are and make a great addition to the garden at this time of year! 😀
Good afternoon GTers! I need some #advice about how to go about germinating these River Lily seeds! Has anyone grown these lovely Lilies from seed? Let me know how you went about it and how successful you were if you have! 😀 #seed #seeds
Nope sorry Ian , not tried those 🙄
https://homeguides.sfgate.com/plant-clivia-seed-63277.html I looked this up this morning Ian. Hope it helps 👍👍
@juliesgarden - No problem Julie! 😀
@pelly - Thanks for the link Jane! Not sure about the first point though - "Harvest clivia seeds by breaking open a ripe clivia berry" - what berry? My plants have seed pods, or are they considered berries? Confused! 😕 Lol 😀
You're welcome Ian, I wasn't sure about that either but as I haven't any berries or seed pods yet I didn't know what I would hopefully be looking for. If you find anything else could you tag me please? 🤔🤔
@pelly - No problem Jane! I've had these for about three years, and dad has had them in his garden since moving into the house in the late 90's, and I've never seen berries on them before! This is the first year mine have produced these seed pods though! 😀
I'm just assuming that they must be the same thing Ian 👍👍
@pelly - Yep, I'll go along with that Jane! 😀
