Good morning GTers! I love the dark #maroon coloured blossom of the #pittosporum bushes at this time of year, don't you? Have a terrific Tuesday everyone! 😀

@rachelbrooks @godfreye - Good morning Rachel and Enid! It's a very unusual colour isn't it? I've described it as maroon but in some cases it could be described as burgundy or almost black! 😀

@sieveheadsarah - They certainly are Sarah! I've photographed this garden since the late 90's and only noticed the tiny flowers about three years ago! 😀

Good morning GTers! Isn't this app wonderful? Have been trying to identify this shrub in dad's garden for years, and thanks to Barbara @jacaranda posting the other day, we now have an ID! Have a terrific Tuesday everyone! 😀 #pittosporum #black

@bks - Yes, the flowers are what made us curious about the shrub in the first place! 😀

@debs69 - Good morning Debra! The shrub has been in dad's garden since they moved in in 1997, but we only noticed flowers a couple of years ago! That's mad considering I've been photographing it every week since then! 😀
