I planted these #yarrow #achillea as part of a wildflower mix 5 or 6 years ago and this is the first time one of them is going to flower! I’m soooo excited!!! 🤗
Great, will it be white? 💚
@anges I hope not but any flowers are welcome!
Yes, post a photo when it's blooming 👌

18/08/18 separated #yarrow #achillea from the dianthus in this pot. See how they do now.
It really likes dry conditions this one. Mine had been doing so well this year but it was chucking it down last night and the old flower heads have flopped. I just cut those back and it looks great again. I just love this plant.
@ublaszko I think these might have been too wet as I was making sure the dianthus were moist so now they’re on their own I’ll leave them to it! There are lots of small plants here so hoping some will develop and give me flowers one day! Still can’t remember how they got there though! 😂
They should be much happier now. ☺👍 Mine are in full sun and I only water them of the soil feels dry to the touch. They're the definition of drought tolerant ☺

#foliagefriday #achillea really need to put these in their own pot so they might actually flower!

Help me identify this plant #plantid Am I right in thinking this is an Achillea? I have lots of these leaves in this pot with dianthus.
Possibly yarrow 🤔
Which is Achillea 😊
Yes looks like achillea/yarrow. Not sure how it got into a pot with dianthus 😁 I have achillea 'Colorado' and it's my favourite perennial so far!
Not sure either. 🤷♀️ think it was there last year too! But it never flowered. Pretty leaves though! 😊 @ublaszko
Maybe pot it up separately and see if it flowers this year or the next. 👍
@ublaszko yep might give that a try! 👍🏼
It might still flower this year even after the move. When I first got mine they were pitifully tiny and they still put on much growth and flowered the same season. They do go one until late September here ☺
This is the first time my #achillea #yarrow have actually flowered! I lie I’ve just found photos of it flowering before! 🤣🤣🤣
