@kez001uk it’s suddenly come into life! I’m a bit concerned that some of the branches are a bit too heavy due to poor pruning in the past but it’s full of flowers at the moment. Love it 😊 and it’s 5 years old @suerichards

@kez001uk We now have an operation date for my partner to have his kidney removed 😬 at the end of June if he agrees to go ahead with it. Been a long time getting to this point but making me very anxious now.

@bluefox23 that’s great news! I can understand you being anxious, it’s all taken so long and you’ve been through a really tough time 😔 do you think he will have the surgery?

@bluefox23 I can relate only too well at the moment as my nan, who is a few months from 5 years vowel cancer-free, has just found out she has breast cancer. It appears to be fully treatable but she’s 84 so it’s a worry

@kez001uk I think he will have the surgery as it’s taking a big risk not to have the kidney removed, and chance that it is not cancer. Sorry to hear about your nan. Too many people are diagnosed with it. To be honest, I’m not sure I’m coping very well, and my health anxiety is starting to flare up, which concerns me that it might get worse the nearer the op gets, but I really don’t want to go back on medication, so I’ll be throwing myself into my garden to try and keep calm (and sane!)

@grandmagizzy my mum has one bought at same time as mine, 3 years ago. Mine has grown and flowered each year. My mum's has grown leaves but this year flowered for first time since I bought it for her! We live in different parts of country and I don't know how she's cared for it! I've not paid to much attention to mine. But very bizarre!! 🤷‍♀️😊
