Yes it's certainly been a lot happier since it's been in ericaceous compost. Hopefully next spring there will be plenty of flowers on it. 😊 @ublaszko

06/05/18 @pixierose well I’ve repotted it in ericaceous compost although mixed with original compost as tough to get it all out of roots! Didn’t want to damage roots! So we’ll see what it does now!! Think it’ll need a bigger pot in year or two and will make sure only use ericaceous then!! Thanks. 👍🏼🤞🏼

@bluefox23 Yay 😁 the girl did good 👍🏼 It’ll be fine with the remaining compost. It’ll soon set out roots to find the new compost. Each year if you remove the top layer and replace. After flowering feed and keep watered with rain water. Next year flowers 💐 😊🙏🏼👍🏼

Well when I bought it a couple years ago, I didn't know about soil types so it's just in a container with multi-purpose compost. I took top layer off a couple of weeks ago and added fresh compost and mulch and it's growing new leaves. Wish I'd know then as I'd have added ericaceous compost. Should I repot it? Or take some compost out and add ericaceous? This might explain why it flowered quickly and briefly last year! @pixierose

@bluefox23 I would repot into ericaceous compost as that’s what they thrive on.
