@anges I wondered if it was the heat. No I’ve not watered them. We had rain on Tuesday so thought that might have been enough. I think I’ll see what they’re like in the morning and use my moisture meter to test them before I water them. 😔

Yes, maybe they might perk up over night when it's cooler. Fingers crossed ☺ 🌷

They're supposed to have flame like patterns, aren't they? They don't look like the pics online. I'd suggest to complain to Wilko but they still haven't got back to my complaint 😬

@ublaszko if you scroll through you’ll see the picture from the pack of bulbs and do not look like this. My photo doesn’t show just how much smaller these other flowers are compared to the one that opened first and is one in profile pic! Maybe they’ll change but think they’re more ‘boring’ tulips than I hoped for. Sure they’ll still be pretty @kez001uk but I think I’ll leave Wilko alone this year!

I was thinking of skipping Wilko this year but the only other one is Morrisons and they're also hit and miss. I think I'll just plant them in pots of begin with and then move them when they start to flower. 😊

I love it Ange @anges however I think it looks a bit like yours that are down as Darwin hybrid so I’m wondering if Wilko have got the wrong label for the bulbs or Vice Versa or maybe they are actually Rembrandt tulips. Need a few more to open to compare!! Lovely nonetheless. 😊

They do look very similar but I don't know if they are the same. The ones I posted today, Banja Luka are from Lidl, I'm really pleased with them too ☺

Couldn’t get enough of this #tulip on Saturday when the sun made it finally open up. Can’t wait for the other tulips to open. #rembrandt 30/03/19 need this as #mondaymotivation after a rubbish work week last week.

@lilybee well remembered 😊 yes I’m currently doing supply at the moment so Easter hols start on Monday, although I’ll do a bit of nursery work over the holidays!! Wish it was plant nursery work though!! 😂

I only went in for kitchen foil but I always go past the garden section when I'm in Poundland 😂😂😉 They were pretty much out of stock for spring bulbs but I found a pack of mixed botanical tulips that are on my wishlist 😀
