I have grown up fascinated by wildlife and nature herself. I love animals and am addicted to growing plants, native and not.

Here’s a close up @Yollymac (as close as I could get without it getting blurry)

That looks like powdery mildew. Succulents quite like high airflow, low humidity. My guess is that bringing them indoors may have caused the issue.

Okay, thanks @Yollymac

@boni-plant I forgot to mention that I use rose spray for them. It seems to work.

@Yollymac thanks for the identification, I’ve heard of powdery mildew, but never knew it affected succulents. Thanks for the advice on how to get rid of it! Let’s hope my plant did not die in vain.

It looks like it’s rotted, or fungus maybe?

The same thing happened to another Echeveria ‘Captain Hay’ that I moved inside. The white fungus is a new appearance, but what’s funny is the fact that only one of these two is effected. @Muzz67 @succulentlover29 @Yollymac

This was a beautiful Echeveria that was going fantastically indoors for about a month... until yesterday when it suddenly and literally over night started dying(?) and I don’t know what to do! The same thing happened to a different Echeveria ‘Captains Hay’ about a week ago after being moved indoors like these two. It was the only Echeveria in the cluster but its the same thing thats happening now. Does anyone know what to do and how to help this poor plant?

It looks like rot unfortunately ? Succulents seem to not like indoors...is it due to cold you have moved it inside?

I don’t think it’s due to cold, it’s actually warmer inside than out, but the temperature difference isn’t that big. Also, if it was rot, why doesn’t this effect the other Echeveria? 🤨 @Muzz67 I hate it when my plants die for no apparent reason and I can’t help tham! 😢😞

Its horrible when they suddenly die.I've had them do that before and had no idea why too.🤨
