The more light it gets the more white and dense the needles will grow!
Thanks for that @beatnikcrab because for a while it was getting too much light, so I'll have to find a nice semi-shady spot.
Hmm, what was it doing that said it was getting too much light? I live in southern Arizona, and I have mine in full sun, full time, so surely it can take whatever sun you throw at it, after an acclimation period. 🤔
It got this weird burn skid on it and the spines started falling off, so I moved it to a shadier place @beatnikcrab
Hmm, strange! Did it come with a fake flower glued to it? I've had something similar happen in that situation, weeks after I brought the plant home and peeled off the flower and glue. I think it had scorched the skin, but the damage didn't show immediately. Anyways, just do what's working for you! 😉👍
