Is this a fungal infection?? Help me guys #advice

Has it had a good feed?

I met this client tonight and she has 6 of these of these red robins and 4 even taller variegated privet behind. She says they were planted 1.5 years ago amd havent been well for almost a year. No feed just water @beckers1974

My suggestion was prune, aerate the soil and mulch with a very fertile mix @beckers1974 and thanks for that @trees.p

I had a few probs with my apple tree last year. I know it's not the same, but a ruddy good prune and tomato feed seem to have helped it rally. I have to contend with clay too, so I risk losing friends by getting them to dig massive holes for me, so I can chuck in tonnes of decent soil and 🐔💩 So far so good!
