#commonthyme my newly bought common thyme plant, it arrived stressed . Transplanted and but not watered already, but I need help,I dont want this one dead,I also cut lil stems from it to propagate. @cyndi @lydiastirling I need you please
Tyme dosent like being over shadowed even by its self. So you tend to get near twigs at the bottom and l new growth and leafs at the bottom. They are also quit happy deying and in very bad soil as it's a mountain Mediterranean herb the same as oregano and rosemary. When it flowers cut it right back down it will come back. The more you take off the bushyer it gets. I have one that's in the same state as yours but the ones in my paving that I cuts right down always come back very bushy. Make sure
You collect the seed after its flowered you can plant them in the same pot as this one so they can fill the pot. Dry any leafs from cutting it back and use them in cooking dry they have a stronger flavour when its dry.
Cut the affected area off and treat it by dusting with cinnamon powder. The disinfect what ever you used to cut it off with. Dispose of the affected area in the bin dont compost it.
