Echinocactus Grusonii

So I went to a really awesome place outside of Sedona! Arizona Botanical Gardens in Clarksdale is amazing!

Oo, that place is great! Did you buy anything? And see the giant tree aloe and the 8 ft agave??

I was so overwhelmed by everything that I didn’t end up buying anything lol!!! I might have them ship me a few things here shortly! That agave was insane!! And I didn’t know that prickly pear turned into big trees like that. The smell from all of the blooms was amazing. I didn’t want to leave!

Not all prickly pears do, but some can! There are a few nurseries in that area, but that's my fav. They're the only ones that specialize in cacti and desert plants, and the only ones that REALLY know what they're doing with them.

The guy there was great. He gave me a lot of good advice with my golden barrels. Trust me it was very hard not to dump out my suitcase and fill it with cactus!
