@angiecrazycatlady They are great little plants, I've seen some for sale close to £400. I don't think they are alpines, but think some people grow them like alpines

Really, I saw someone on TV who has the national collection, they were gorgeous but he said they weren't always easy to grow. Shame because that put me off

@angiecrazycatlady I know some of them can be tricky to grow. The ones I have are the Noblis variety and from what I know there supposed to be the easiest to grow. I put mine in last year and they done great, moved them recently and they are doing even better. There is a couple places online that specialise in them. I would give the Noblis variety a try.
