Prunus domestica var. damascena Prune Damson

Hi! I'd love to have something like this for my garden. Do any of you know what it is and when the best time would be to plant? Also what other plants it would benefit from?

Looks very like Callicarpa Bodinieri. They are for sale now so I suppose it's ok to plant them. Your garden centre should know. On my wish list too.
