What do you guys think is going on with my pickle plant? It’s not wet, I only water one a month. When I first got her, she looked like this (just smaller), but I planted her outside and she thrived. Now she’s in for the winter and we’re back to looking brown on the bottom. There is new growth on those stems, and there are no pests. Could it need more water than my other succs? #pickleplanthelp #succulenthelp #pickleplant #succulent

Hmmm maybe do the newer leafs look wrinkly ot less plump? Maybe its a humidity thing?

@heatherdirtyhands they look the same to me. 🤷🏼♀️

Now this is one I will water once a week. When very cold though I start the once a month plan. I’m also thinking not enough humidity. If it’s in the house and you’re running your heating system, that can really suck the humidity out of the house. You can try a tray of water with pebbles or pea gravel in it for the pot to rest above the water

@docthrill that is possible. I keep it warm in the house, I’m cold natured. I’ll look into a humidifier and maybe try the water/pebble thing. Thanks!

My little pickle plant is beginning to bloom. Further proof that even when you’re in a pickle and things feel a little prickly, love is present. 💚 #pickleplant #flowering #succulent #blooming

Great photo

Wow. What a great looking plant.

That’s beautiful April. 🤩

Thank you!!!! I found a new love for succulents during Covid! @cyndi @belindah @philstalder @petitelake

Oh that's good that I finally have a name for mine, I grew it from a leaf off a very sad looking neglected plant that my niece had, so I'm really pleased mine has grown so well. Hopefully it'll look like yours soon 😍😊

@gjones thanks Katy, yes it is the same 😊

@angiecrazycatlady I rescued mine too. It was looking really really sad and in poor shape when I bought it at the Tractor Supply. But it’s bounced back nicely. One of my favorites now. I’m sure yours will be big in no time!!!

Such a shame they are neglected, succulents are so good at coming back from the dead 😄
