Helianthus annuus 'Teddy Bear'

I'm dreaming of spring! I want to plant these teddy bear sunflowers this year. Anyone ever grow them? #readyforspring #dreaming #futuregarden #teddybearsunflower #sunflower #wishlist

I did indeed @cyndi but they did not look as good as this one in the photo! I'll give them another go this year & put them in a sunnier spot this time. I'll be checking out April's too 👍Are you going to be trying them?

I will get mine started off in a few weeks time, just before I go on holiday. If they germinate much sooner, it will be too cold to grow them on in the greenhouse at this time of year. I'm sure you'll both do well with them there & maybe here too if we get a half decent summer that is! @cyndi & @camilio81 👍

Thanks to @cyndi 's links, I ordered 5 varieties of sunflowers this morning. 2 types of teddy bears (teddy bear and honey bear sunflowers), 2 red varieties, and a mammoth sunflower variety. I'm excited! Might start a few indoors if they arrive by the weekend. I'm just concerned about my cats trying to get into them.

I've planted them too, love that they are perennials!
