In memory of the hundreds who died in the Mediterranean sea at Pylos, Greece those past days when trying to flee wars, violence and natural disasters caused by climate change while European Goverments turned a deliberate blind eye.

This beauty grew from a plant that must have self seeded last year... and it looks far more beautiful than the ones I grew from seed this year. ❤️
Wow that's a super colour!! I'll look out for this one for next year 😊😊❤❤

So nervous about planting these out, keep wondering when is the right time. I am tempted to wait until next weekend. I’m more concerned about slugs than frost at this point. When are you all planting the #seedlings outside?
In this pic - Cosmos, Zinnia, French Marigold, & 🌻 (and some red peppers and 🥒 )
Cosmos and zinnias are tender so I'd wait till late May. Not much benefit planting them out earlier. 😊
I rarely plant anything out until late May Roxanna ....all looking very good there 👍🏻🙂
@flof1952 @ublaszko Thank you, I may be too enthusiastic 😬 I’ll keep them in a while longer!
I'm eager to plant out my dahlias but the risk of frost is still here until late May. I'm only just starting seeds for annuals 😅

Hi all, #advice-needed please! I am thinking to move these babies into their individual pots this weekend, what is your favourite seedling compost? I’d prefer peat free as a must and organic where possible. Also, I am thinking to plant these out either end of April or end May. Which one is better? Thank you, all x
I've done this one, I potted in a John Insse? for potting on. Wouldn't put them out until the beginning of May
Yes agee with @jaynehynesburton pot on individually in 3” pots and don’t plant out till mid May.. gradually acclimatise by having the pots out in the day and back in at night.. you can also bury them quite deeply if they have become leggy although yours don’t look like they have 😊
Thank you! Sounds like a plan. X

The planting out has begun this week with my greatest and most wonderful helper, my son. ❤️🫶🏼 We’ve managed to clear two flower beds and planted out some of the Cosmos (Dazzler & Purity), Pot Marigolds and Nasturtiums. Still so much more tidying up needed in the garden, so many seedlings left in the greenhouse to plant, and also next weekend is scheduled for the veg trug! Very intense gardening at the moment, I hope that weather stays warm and dry a while longer so that we can finish it all
Looking lovely
@charlotte Thank you! 🌷
