My first #leek of the season picked early as they are starting to bolt! So dry in the raised beds need to rethink where I plant out next year.. #gyo
Love leeks
Fab 👌🏻
Thank you lovelies @nessas me too @charlotte and yes bit early @linfoster but as they are bolting had to go for it - tasted yummy 😋
You have naturally green fingers me thinks Carole. 👍🏻
Oh @linfoster mine when out in April.. - unfortunately not I think @janeatkin as we've not had enough rain to stop the bolting so not one of my successes
They were fine last year @linfoster but I shall ignore the seed packet and follow your advice next year 😊
Perhaps the raised bed has sprung a leek...🤔🙈 so sorry...can't even say I've been drinking! 😂 well they look great and as long as they tasted great that's all that matters! 👍🏼
Oh @rachelbrooks I'm more concerned that you weren't drinking and thought of that 😂😂😂😂😂 they tasted delicious but that might have been the butter I cooked them in 😏
🙊😆 it's ok, butter is good for you! 👍🏼😉
Fabulous hun 😘
Mmmmh #leeks - love being able to plan supper around what I can harvest 💚
Yes me too @linfoster which is why I’m still harvesting- but it hasn’t stopped me sowing more 😂
