Lavandula angustifolia 'Imperial Gem'

So pleased this has grown! I grew about 30 plants from seed last year and this is the first of the flowers. They smell gorgeous as you pass by the wall 🤗

Thank you @hlt and @titchyfra - quite pleased now.. Didn't realise it wasn't normal to grow from seed.. 😊I wish my carrots and cosmos were easier to grow from seed!! 6 cosmos plants out of 3 lots of sowings!! 😡

I think @carolecuttingitfine seeds have taken longer this year for some reason, my carrots took ages I'd almost gave up but they did eventually. I like cosmos but didn't bother this year- last year I used some to fill gaps(the 1.2m high ones) and they really took over!! I'm going to stick with the smaller ones unless the borders bare lol

@carolecuttingitfine my Cosmos done well this year. I sprinkled some in large pots where I wanted plants & that was really good as it avoided the transplanting stage 😀 first flower almost open, took the initial flowers out as that's what I was told to make the plants bushier & get more flowers🌸 think it's working 😀
