Morning Carole, great to see, all I've got is a messy mass of leaves. 💙💙

Oh I’ve got plenty of messy leaves too @pelly and @rachelbrooks - but just this one determined rogue.. they will soon be popping up all over the place for you I’m sure 😊😊

I did a bit of reading on the messy leaves and apparently it's fertile soil that causes it. They prefer stoney poor soil. 💙💙

Oh interesting @pelly I wouldn’t have said my soil was that fertile, I never add anything or mulch as everything is so tightly packed throughout the seasons.. oh well I’ll never do it now I know that 😂😂

I think I may move mine when they've finished, but like you probably won't actually do it!! 😂😂

@pelly Jane, that's what I found after my first year with muscari. Now I'm growing them in a pot as my soil is too fertile for them and they look lovely. I will take a pic when I get a chance. I also grow them slightly deeper than recommended, 10 cm deep and that keeps them upright too.

I’ll look forward to that, thanks for the great advice Urszula, I never thought of putting them in a pot. I’m going to put it in my gardening diary right now. @ublaszko 👍😘

You can move them now and it won't hurt them one bit. I moved mine just as they were budding last year and they still came back and are showing nice plump flower buds. Putting them in a pot stops them from taking over the garden @pelly

Oh thanks Urszula, I might do that then. Luckily mine haven't got too big yet as I only got them last spring. 👍👍
