Ahh me too @pottybird42 I remember sitting on the back kitchen steps (in the days before it was called a utility room) and podding peas, one for me one for the pot! And yes @nessas between me and my grandson eating them, it's a miracle I managed to fill this very small pot 😂

They are hard because the pea swells to the size of a marble and gives off a strong smell that mice love. They dig them up. Or they rot, get mold

Yes mine rotted, and then the mice found the next lot despite covering the ground with holly branches so I cheated and bought these from the village plant sale about 3 inches high! And the ones in the bucket did well too.. they taste all the better @no_akira for trying so much 😊
