Thank you @belindah it was getting out of hand so thought I’d lift the canopy to give us room to get through to the chicken gate 🤣 with the ones next to it we’ve made tunnels that the grandchildren love weaving in and out of!

It was a much needed massacre @sho47 it was a tangled mess that took over 20ft x 40ft of the garden and was a dumping ground for all sorts of rubbish!

Thank you @daisy-jane and @pelly it and a couple more took over 20 x 40 ft patch of the garden it was tangled in brambles and had hundreds of pots and lots of pallets hidden in it! It was quite a weekend of clearing! We invited friends with chainsaws to help in exchange for food! And still it lives!

#rhododendron is full of buds! This is the most ridiculously determined tree ever, it's been chainsawed to the grown and used as a firepit and still it's 5ft tall and about 10ft wide and bursting with life!

Many call them a menace but you can't help but be impressed by their resilience and beauty!

It's fighting back Carole. 😂😂

This one was coming about 20 ft into the garden.. after years of neglect, but after a chainsaw massacre, and regularly being kept in check, it's lovely.. @bigemrg @pelly and @gjones but you can't give it an inch or it will run wild!!
