Spiraea douglasii

Help me identify this plants please - it's a shrub that keeps sprouting with lovely soft cone like flowers

@carolecuttingitfine I couldn't find it on google either, I'm sure I bought it as a butterfly bush 😔

@faeflowers - well maybe it is.. Just didn't look big enough to be a budliea.. I shall continue to google and let you know!! I've got a cut flower in my "garden" pictures with roses - in full bloom does it look like yours?

@carolecuttingitfine I've looked at your photo and now I'm not sure I'll take a pic of mine tomorrow so we can compare 😊

You can see why I was unsure @faeflowers the flowers are much fluffier and smaller than budliea..

I can @carolecuttingitfine it looks like bottle brush but I've only come across red bottle brush I'm sure they come in other colours 😊 but mine isn't a bottle brush lol plot thickens 😄
