Plants
A lover of all things nature π±π»πππ¦ I do have a passion for indoor plants & natives π Playing out in the garden is my chill out time πΏπ
Thank you! It's randomly growing out the back of my work & now I want to use it for my horticulture assessment. I think it is the Hungarian Blue Breadseed Poppy which is a papaver somniferum apparently so you're both right! Thank you so much
Because this is your post you get a notification every time someone likes or comments, regardless of whether they tag you or not. But others donβt get notified unless you do this: get someone's attention eg to reply or ask a Q or say thanks, you need to put an @ in front of their name so they get a notification eg @marieange
It's probably an annual though? So you would have been better off waiting for the seed pod to form and removing it once you could hear the seeds rattling inside. Good luck!
Can anybody help with what breed of poppy this is?
I could be totally wrong but to me it looks like a Hungarian Blue Breadseed Poppy :)
A beautiful Poppy. β€οΈ
Itβs pretty! Looks pink rather than purple?
Possibly Papaver somniferum?

Thank you @ausgardentags! The petals ended up falling off overnight sadly 😔 So I'm just going to put her in a pot & keep her now

Very true!! I was going to use it for an assessment I have so I'd already dug her out sadly. Oh well, I'll see it goes 🤞 @ausgardentags
