Last of my chillis dried. Some got chopped and froze. Some frozen hole in freezer. The remainder where left to dry on plant but two days ago where still soft living on the remains on the plant quite well. I realised the Aga is on now which it wasn’t when I started freezing so put them in the warming oven for 48 hrs and are crisp enough to hear the seeds rattle. Don’t need to grow any next year but next time will dry all in Aga.

@chapelbarn They look great! We love our chilli’s . We currently have chocolate habanero growing . Last year we dried ours on kitchen towel in the airing cupboard. They were fantastic!

#gyo 44 red chillies another 25 still dark purple and few flowers. Decided I will freeze these and in winter make a sweet chilli dipping type sauce. 😀

Hi there great idea for use of chilli. I have a yellow chilli plant and the chilli 's are now going red do they go green after that or do I need to buy another plant

Annie @annierap mine went green then deep purple almost black then red. I think it depends on type when they are green.
