Someone please tell me how to look after this houseplant! I already killed one last year and got this one for christmas to try again but it already seems to be going downhill! I have googled what to do as well as researched in books and have found contradictory results. I spray it every day as some sources have advised although some say they dont like wet leaves! Agh! #advice
I love these Maidenhair ferns, but unfortunately I am not able to keep them alive for long. Like you, I've tried keeping them in the shade, the light, keeping dry, spraying, but nothing seems to make any difference. They just don't like me ! But I'll probably keep trying. Good luck with yours. All advice and tips welcome.
I just remembered I saw it in one of the Chelsea show gardens with watering pouring over it from a water feature. So it must enjoy moisture. Sounds like a bathroom might be a good place for it. Definitely away from direct sun.
@debrascott @emeraldt @ublaszko @johninbrighton I've got it tucked in the alcove by a chimney breast so rarely gets too much light. I shall keep spraying and watering. Thanks for your advice!

I wouldn't know, I killed mine 😅😅 I think they cannot be allowed to dry out.
