Planted today (1/5) with clingfilm. White label on right pot means its the darker variety. @suerichards Thanks for your advice, do you water from the top or in a tray at the bottom?
Hopefully if you have watered them they should produce condensation but if they get too dry, just lift the film and water. One of mine has taken, but nothing from the other so it’s pot luck, 🤞. @charliebailey03

Anyone got any advice on growing pineapple lillies? (Eucomis) One is dark/pink and one is light, is there a way to tell which one is which?
#advice
I have grown mine in a cold frame, they came up last year so I am hopeful for this year 👍
@suerichards ooh a coldframe is something i need to invest in
@charliebailey03 oh no 🤦♀️ pot them up and put cling film over them in a warm place in the garden or start them off indoors they will soon grow. Don’t them them dry out. Try them like dahlias 👍 Use old plastic kitchen trays I will post what I mean tomorrow as propagators 🤩
@suerichards Thank you!!

Anyone know what these could be? In the excitement of gardeners world ive forgotten the name and only got them in an unlabeled bag. If I remembee correctly they looked slightly like eremurus flowers but shorter. One dark foliage and one light.

@richard.spicer.7906 might be able to identify it
Thanks Alison @bluefox23 - Hi Charlie, they remind me a lot of Eucomis bulbs (pineapple lilies) 👍🏼
@richard.spicer.7906 That was it!! Knew it began with an E!! Thanks, and @bluefox23
Charlie, I knew Rich might be able to, he knows his bulbs/corms/rhizomes 😁😂😂 @richard.spicer.7906
