@garypoetryman They're in bloom already, but the colours are pretty pale still. Should get a bit brighter over the summer.

@gentian Yes, I think it is in the same family. The similar plant I was mentioning seeing around Ottawa is lamb’s quarters.

The #quinoa seedlings were transplanted a few weeks go and are finally starting to grow a bit more.

@garypoetryman The plants grow four to eight feet tall, with clusters of soft puffy seeds at the top of the stalks. Each stalk will have a different colour of seed, golden, pink, or orange. Quinoa looks similar to some amaranths. This is my first year growing it. 😀 I will post photos later this summer or early fall.
