Is the bleeding heart planted in ⛅ sun or shade? I planted one in the sun and it died - I might have over watered the plant not sure...

It's in the shadiest part of my garden, under a tree and beside a fence. I don't water it, but the soil remains pretty damp due to ground cover (periwinkle) and the shade. I think if you have the right spot, it shouldn't take much maintenance. :)

I have one on the shady side of my deck and it is huge, or was until the dogs trampled it, hoping to transplant it to a new location without killing it

@MrRolfe Good luck. I'd wait until fall to transplant it, though. Unless the dogs will utterly destroy it before then! ☺️
