@CheerfulandLiterate What kind of fern ? Many are very good and edible in the fiddlehead stage in the spring. Google it or look it up on YouTube. Type in fiddleheads. They are delicious but like mushrooms, beware. Some are not.

@tkept I'm not sure what kind of fern it is as I didn't plant them. There are a few that look very similar when I am searching online databases. I have a detailed plant field guide up at my camp so I will check this summer.
