Iris x hollandica 'Royal Yellow'

Yellow Iris that came with the house and has been floundering the last two seasons. I cleared the bed, fertilized, and divided some of the larger plants. This is the first bloom we have ever seen out of it!

I'm sure they will be beautiful! I grow a lot of different iris and Dutch Iris have long tall slender blade leaves. This looks more like German Bearded iris, which would be about the right bloom time for your zone. Dutch usually bloom very early spring. Hope you're not offended by the information. They are very healthy looking.

Not offended at all! Thanks for looking! They did bloom this year and they are yellow. I am going to update a lot of my pictures this season as the yard is completely different now.
