This was the roots from my Spider Plant (nicknamed Spidey cause of his webby roots. 😉). I was repotting him however and while i was untangling his roots, a loooot of ants came out. I washed his roots out at the water hose and got his old soil out, but I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to make sure they're all dead and stay away?

Sprinkling cinnamon or cayenne pepper around the base of the plant can help repel ants. I've heard that artificial sweetener is deadly for ants, so you could try putting that out and see if the ants eat it. (Haven't tried that last one myself)
