Help me identify this plant - I have no memory of planting it and cannot find a label that looks remotely like it. The only blue flower label I have is for Jasione perennis but it's picture doesn't look much like this plant! #plantid
They are a beauty would like the name too 😉
@chrisf Is it a bulb? Has the foliage died down before flowering?
The foliage is still there @ianshaw but it is dying down - it looks almost like grass as the leaves are long, thin, lanceolate. Don't know whether it's a bulb - I'd need to dig a bit up - but it had crossed my mind that it might be. In fact I think it is an Allium as I've just been out to look at it again and this time broken off a leaf to smell it. Definitely onions!

Thanks, Ian @ianshaw - I've just been looking online and wondering if it may be A. sikkimense? It is quite small - bit like a blue version of chives in fact. Although beesianum looks very much like it too so I suspect you are right!
Found the label in a forgotten tin. It is Allium sikkimensis @ianshaw @tina
