Hi @chrissy70 yes you do when foliage has blackened after first frost. Depending on where you are in the country it is usually recommend that you lift the tubers, shake off the excess soil and store them somewhere cool but frost free over winter, pot up again in spring. There's loads of tutorials on line for more information. Hope you find this helpful and welcome to garden tags 😃
Thanks for that. First time growing dahlias & these are lovely. Named for my partner. They're still going strong at present first frost last night. We're in Nottinghamshire.
Do I cut this down when finished flowering?

Let the leaves blacken in the first then dig up the tubers and store in a frost free place wrapped in paper bags. 😊
