Don't think they made it :( We had two days of a hard freeze. We rarely freeze more then a few hours. #foliage (haha) #louisiana #Zone8b
Don't lose hope! It may still come back from the roots :)
Well durn, but @treefrog44 has a good point. They might come back.😉
@treefrog44 I'm not giving in just yet. I'm going to trim them back and give them some water. They do grow quickly ,if I don't see anything in two weeks. ..then I'll throw in the towel and shop for replacement plants ;) @SikoMa I agree

One of my favorites! It's hard to find here it goes so fast when the nurseries do have...
Does your mexican Heather come back each year?
@Selina91675 I just planted these this spring. But in a previous yard I had them for several years. I'm in zone 8 or 9 depending on what map you look at.

I planted this in one of my mixed containers. Sure is fun and funky!!
I planted 6 of them and they sure do hold up to the Louisiana heat.

Mexican Heather is doing well. Looks like the Agapanthus (Peter Pan ) will need to be divided the fall as well.
They are coming back. I was a little worried!!!!
