Tulipa (Triumph Group)

Last picking of the Triumph tulips, with the rain and sun they pretty much all decided to flower at once, but they've lasted since Easter. Luckily I planted another variety late on which might be ok for the weekend (thank goodness for auctions) 😂🌷🌷🌷

They're a mix of different colours Julie but these are the last selection, they do seem to open roughly in colour order, the purple ones are the last. At least it gives people a change of colours if they buy my flowers every week. The next ones are pink frilled, hope they like them 🌷🤞💐 @juliesgarden

Bargain !!

These are tulip bulbs I dried and replanted from last year for cutting for NGS funds. The row on the left were the biggest bulbs which I planted with great care the right way up evenly spaced. The row on the right consists of all the small bulbs that formed and all I did was pour them into the trench and smooth them out a bit. As you can see, at this stage, absolutely no difference between them 😂😂🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷

Yes Elaine it's a new departure, I just bought a big bag of bulbs dirt cheap 😂 at our local auction and thought I'd give it a go. I just put them outside our house at £1 a bunch and so far they've all sold. When we have our open garden we have a plant sale so just going to add the proceeds to that 🤞 @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom

A bit of progress with the tulips, a few gaps thanks to something eating the bulbs (pheasants no. 1 suspects), but have had to take the net off now 🌷🌷🌷

Last row going in..... 911, 912, 913, 914 ...... can see 1,000 approaching! 😂🌷🌷🌷
