I forgot to lift my dahlia last year and then found it when I was replanting. Luckily it’s coming back. Do I replant as it is or split the tubers? #advice

@clare2611 @LyndaClack I forgot to lift mine too. They are in pots. Been wondering whether I should dig them up to check them or leave them to see what happens!?
@LyndaClack yes that’s great. They’ve been covered in snow at times so worried they might have rotted. Will dig them up and check. Space is limited so if they’re no good, want to reuse the pots!! 👍🏼😊
