Thought i would look this up as i dont know this plant! Interesting fact! Dont all rush now! ! It is sometimes used as a Cannabis substitute by recreational users as an alternative to illegal psychoactive plants. Leonotis leonorus is not currently scheduled under federal law in the United States. Amazing what Garden Tags throws up !

Wow! Intresting fact, i promise i only grow it for the flowers it is now a small shrub and when it is all in flower, it is stunning this time of year, when the garden looks a bit drab, i will take another photo, when it is completely in full flower, but thankyou June for finding out that fact, cant wait to tell my mother as she gave it to me!😀
