Yes please @pelly I did another one quite a few months ago and it's only just started growing. But it is growing. So there is hope yet. I've brought this inside too a it was going black on the leaves and with the tops randomly falling off thought it best ready for winter.

Oh no!!! Chop it off it should sprout from lower down.I dont know whats happening to it? Weird ?

It's the 3rd one where the top half fallen off and the leaves are going black I don't know if it's cause of all the rings or snails so I've brought it in. Have took the tops to dry out we'll see why happens. @Muzz67

Definitely cut it down. Do you have it somewhere where it could have got damp or been damaged by the sun?

Hi @Soph1e it's been out in the same place for the last 4 months no issue. But we have had a lot of rain recently. X

@confusedpossum I wonder if that's what's upset it. It's hard to tell from the photo but that top leaf does look like it could be rotten. Succulents are such resilient plants, it should recover quickly.

@Soph1e I have a new phone and can't get the camera to focus on close up things. The top few leaves N are black and mushy. The tops that have come off do far have nothing wrong with them, from what I can see, clean break. It's very strange.

The top that came off doesn't seem to be anything but then where's it came off has only just started making progress. #necklacevine #nightshot #succulentsunday

The top fell off so may as well see if i can do anything with it.

The top fell off one so tried to repot in the hope it will continue to grow.

It broke off Sunday night Monday morning and has been in the sun since. I've already potted so hopefully it will be ok. 😬

How much sun it it getting ? It may not look its true form and colour if its not getting sun.Look at mine and see the colour change with more light also the tighter form.Swipe back to see it totally green when i first got it Look at my "necklace vine" I think its called on here😆

I think you're right @Muzz67 the day i took that was the day after the first frost. They've been outside ever since. I'll take a new photo. X
