Plants
Lover of nature, with a strong need for life inside my house. I'm a beginner, go easy on me, and any tips or advice or comments you might have are much appreciated:)
Help me identify this plant, and maybe help me with some care tips? I was hoping to possibly clone just for fun if it's possible. I lost the tag and I'm a beginner...
Welcome to gtags! Your ivy looks like #commonivy, #englishivy or look up #hederahelix. Care tips for your ivy: need BRIGHT light, and they prefer to be kept in dry soil, so don't over water them, and make sure they have good drainage, let them dry out between waterings.
@coreybrendan some plants will root good in water some wont, make sure you change out the water regularly, also could be the kind of water you use, tap water has chlorine and chemicals plants do not like, try distilled, or spring water, filtered water etc... there are a lot of factors, kinda like a science fair project :) just don't give up!

@treefrog44 well thanks! I looked up a bit about it. Very interesting!
Don't be afraid to try new things with plants...we all start somewhere! :)
@treefrog44 like what???
Would you text me? I have questions that I'm embarrassed to ask publically hahh
@treefrog44
You mentioned cloning your plant, try cuttings in soil, as well as in water, experiment with root hormone powders, those kinds of things
@treefrog44 you are so on top of it, I did all of that! Rooting in water is hardest for me
