Had two previous gardens but my garden now is attached to a very old cottage in Wiltshire, so I'm slowly restoring it back in keeping, hopefully.

What's your secret ? Mine's finally showing signs of new growth but think the cold snap has set it back again! 😣 lost the only flower bud I had and growth is so slow. It's in a container and my princess Charlotte is doing much better in the garden. I've now given it a feed of tomatorite to try and bring it on.

Don't have a secret I'm afraid @Diane76 , just planted it and let it do its own thing. It's in a fairly sheltered location so that might of helped.

@Diane76 we had a Miss Bateman in a pot for several years and it didn't do much at all and I was so disappointed. I don't like getting rid of any plant so we emptied it into an unloved corner of the garden and it grew like a weed and flowered its socks off the following year 😁 I thinknthis one just loves to be in the ground

I'm starting to wonder that but it's so annoying when they say suitable for containers @docmurphy

First clematis flower out for this year. Lost the tag so can't remember which variety it is though 😬😆.

That's a good idea @cyndi , I've just started keeping the tags in a tin, but I think that'll get a bit full soon 😄.
