Help me identify this plant. Just had these come in the raised boarder I built last year. They must of been mixed in with some snowdrops I transferred into it. Don't know what they are but they're very nice 😊.
They looks like a miniature tulip Dave🌷, did you have any larger tulips planted before? This could be a seedling from a bigger tulip? There gorgeous whatever they are 👍🏻🌷👍🏻
These are so crisp! 👍🏻
Thanks @mrsflowerpot , I don't think there was ever any large tulips . But the garden had gone completely feral when we got here so there could of been anything in there at some point 😆. Mini tulips seems to fit though 😊.
They kind of look like some of the "wild" tulips that I plant wherever I can fit them in. They are supposed to be especially long lived.
Look like tulip Dave to me , morning 👍
Hi Dave, ive been having a little investigate and they could maybe be Tulipa turkestanica or tulipa saxatilis. 🌷🌷🌷🌷
Thanks for that Beck @mrsflowerpot , I think your right with the Tulipa Turkestanica 😊.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😊
@cottagegardendave Have a look at T. clusiana 'Lady Jane' • The petals are alternate pink and white on the outside like yours
Thanks Ian @ianshaw , I'll have a look at those.
So pretty
Good morning Gtagers, beautiful day today 😀🌞🌞
