Just moved "suzy" into the kitchen 🤞hoping she likes it better by the window💚 #african-mask 💚 she has lost 3 leaves since I brought her home and re-potted her, got her 7 days ago. My owls are watching over her 😍 11.27.21

Is she dieing already? Or is she adjusting to her new living arrangements? I took 3 leafs off her that had turned brown and pale with curled tips. I gave her a second watering since I got her as the dirt was very dry, yet I have her sitting on a pebbles tray of water for humidity. Anything else I can do? @sieveheadsarah @ublaszko

Maybe overwatered? Mine hasn't had any drink yet and it's doing ok. The top half of the soil is completely dry but when I lifted it out of the pot it was still moist at the bottom so I'm leaving it be until it looks slightly wilted 😅

🤔😬any advice? I hate for her to die..i repotted after I brought her home. @ublaszko @sieveheadsarah

Oh, it might be transplant shock then. I don't know anything about houseplants but Sarah might be able to help.

I went looking for a swiss cheese monstera- I love how they look, but, I think they might grow too big, plus-they were too beat up- to my liking, so I came home with this one instead🤪loving it💚 @ublaszko

I don't think I'd buy monstera because they are climbing plants from what I've heard and I don't have the space for it.

Driving home with a #newaddition for #foliagefriday 💚 #alocasia-amazonica fell in love with the dark waxy leaves, I know nothing about this plant, any advice? Do I have it labeled correctly ? That's what Google lens said it is🤗 11.19.21

It’s lovely Thelma, you have the correct name 👍🏼. They like bright indirect sunlight, they hate to be waterlogged, I use rain water and let them soak it up for an hour or so and then let it drain away, I water mine maybe every 10 days and I turn the plant 1/4 turn every week to keep it growing evenly 😀

I am the same as Katy. Mine only lasted about 6 months. Might have been a case of overwatering. I had mine in a pebble tray as I heard they like humidity. Thought I was doing well but then one by one the leaves turned yellow. I hope yours does well Thelma. You do so well with plants I bet it will thrive. Does anyone have a stromanthe triostar? Having issues with it too. Leaves turning yellow. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
