Tillandsia seleriana has got a decent sized baby on the way...thought she was putting weight on but didn't like to tell her!

@angiecrazycatlady it is hairy, that's all the trichomes that the plant uses to help deflect sunlight, protect the stoma and channel moisture gives it a real velvety feel.

There's so many different shapes and sizes @pixierose it's one of the reasons I ended up addicted to them. This one's about 12 years old. And they're pretty weird too. Who couldn't be fascinated by them!
