Alpinia zerumbet 'Variegata'

Someone from tags put the same plant on for show. I forgot the name of it. I think it comes from the ginger family.

Looks like Shell Ginger.

@nej hi i thought it was you who posted yours earlier. Once again thanks for your knowledge. When do you cut it back and by how much.

After it finishes flowering you can cut the whole stalk down to the base and new shoots will replace it ready for next year.
