Cute little babies 💕🌞

I started propagating #frailea-castanea seeds on 9/29/2022 #seed-grown. Tiny little green or yellow baby frailea are growing.

Whoa 🤯 I didn’t know if that was a seed pod ontop of my frailea or not. And yes it’s a seed pod, now I know! Potted up all 70 seeds in that tiny pod. 😆 any tips on growing cactus from seeds are welcome and very much appreciated 💕 #frailea-castanea #frailea #frailea-castanea-seeds #cactus

Started some Portulaca seeds in moist sand and put it in a ventilated tote for a few days. I also have a heat mat sitting atop the tote. The humidity helped them germinate faster. I tried spraying them every day but had no success. @dadayba

@rudester1 thank you I will put this guys in my seed starter tray set and lock and keep the humidity

Oh, wonderful! I have been successful with cactus seeds in an old food container, the hothouse it makes works well. 🤞

This cactus never produces off spring. It does produces flower buds on very hot days some flowers open some doesn’t but the good thing is is that the flowers pollinate itself. 👏🏼 #texture #pattern #color #frailea-castanea #frailea #cactus
