@dan5584 Hi Dan I thought about growing a Clematis through mine so I had colour in the summer. The only problem is I always prune mine back after flowering, as it flowers next year on the new growth, so would chop the Clematis too. Any suggestions !! 🤔

Tough one. Although it would look lovely I can’t see a way around it. The clematis would also probably take over and could strangle the deutzia! To be honest I cut all my clematis back to about a foot high every year to keep them in check, so I don’t think killing the clematis would be the problem @suerichards
