A Greek man gave me this plant about 2 years ago. He said it was a type of lavender. This is the first time it has flowered since I've had it. It grows quite quickly and I have had to cut it back several times . It does have an unusual smell.does anyone know what it is?
To get someone's attention eg to reply or ask a Q or say thanks, you need to put an @ in front of their name so they get a notification eg @deekay
Because this is your post you get a notification every time someone likes or comments, regardless of whether they tag you or not. 😊
Help me identify this plant

That is very pretty but doesn't look like any lavender I've ever seen. Looks like a succulent. Maybe @alovealoe will know which??
I think it is called dogsbane...dogs hate it cos of the smell 🤢@dars
Plectranthus caninus or p.ornatus @dars
I agree with @deekay .
#Plectranthus #mauve
Thank you deekay . Is there a common name for it?

Common name is dogbane.
Yes @dars dogsbane is the common name used. It is supposed also to keep dogs off your garden area. Not sure if it works though 🐕🐩
