Growing well.

That’s a beauty Dave 💚💚

@hayleyaj its doing well now hayley, it struggled when i put it in the ground, so i put it in a big pot, in a shadier spot, and its doing well now.

Well it was obviously the right move! You can divide it too and make lots more! Treat it like a hosta 😁

Is that a hosta ?

@charlotte brunnera Charlotte.

Starting to look good now. It seems to have come on since cutting the flower spikes off.

Is this one of the smaller ones as I've been looking to get one for shady corner but wasn't sure which variety is more the dwarf ones as it's only a small corner to fill 💚

@keely it should get quite big keely, i hope. Ive got a couple of jack frost, their not growing as fast. The sea heart has gone huge.

Beautiful plant 🌿💚

Far too big for my little corner it will smother my dwarf hosta might have to look at something else then 😮 cheers

@rachelbrooks its looking great at the moment rachel. Ive got it in a big tub now, in a shadier spot, it struggled last year where i had it in the ground, so see how it gets on this year.

Looking so much healthier now its out of the sun, should be great next year.

As soon as I saw the picture I knew it could only be you! I think you should get an official brunneraholic sticker 👍👍😊

@ublaszko id wear it with pride urszula 😁

So you should 😊 Your brunneras are very lush and healthy. 👍👍

Wow! That looks very healthy 👌🏼

@richard.spicer.7906 it didnt rich, it got a battering with the sun this summer, so ive moved it, and removed the scorched leaves and its coming good now. Should be nice next year.

This has really struggled this year , to much sun. Ive dug it up, put it in a big pot in a shady spot, removed all the scorched leaves , and it seems to be improving.

Wish this looked like this now 🙄 #foliagefriday

Won’t be long until everything is coming back to life. Lots of frosts this year , my garden is looking very sorry for itself @davewrightjoinerygooglemail.co ☹️

That looks just like "Jack Frost" rather than a forget-me-not but I could write what I do know on the back of a postage stamp 😳

It's Jack frost brunnera. Mine looks dead...

@brighton so does mine at the moment christine. Theres lots of new growth under the leaves though 🤗

@brighton @jpea this one is Brunnera Alexanders Great ive got a jack frost as well there very similar. I think the alexanders great possibly gets a bit bigger.

Some people call it perennial forget me not because the flowers are similar. Mines looking pretty dead at the moment but will revive, I’m sure

I've just been reading up about them Joan, I always call mine brunnera but when you log them on the app it comes up as perennial forget me not. A bit confusing for everyone. Apparently according to Alan titchmarsh there a cousin to the ordinary forget me not 🤔 nice plant though what ever you want to call it. @joanboston

Ah glad I came across your post Dave,I've got one and it looks very dead so I'm glad to know they come back 😁👍

I hope mine's still alive @davewrightjoinerygooglemail.co as the blue flowers are lovely and yes they do look like forget me nots

Wow! Is this today Dave?

@rachelbrooks unfortunately not rachel , been hit badly by the frost. These are new to me so im hoping itll come back strong next year.

Ah that’s why I asked Dave. Don’t panic...it will! After going all black and making you think it’s dead! 😂

@rachelbrooks 👍🤗 i was hoping it would rachel. What a great looking plant.

One of my very faves Dave! The foliage is beautiful and I love the tiny blue flowers in the Spring 💙💚

Morning Dave, it looks really healthy. 👍👍👍

@flof1952 they grow really quickly Pauline. That was in a 9cm pot in about April. So coming along well.

One of my favourites this year from @plantagogo, growing nicely.

Attractive leaves Dave ......when does it flower?

@flo in the summer pauline. Not sure if this one will this year. I've got the smaller variety which is flowering, very similar to heuchera flowers really.

Hi, it has blue forget me not flowers in spring. I love it, such lovely foliage almost all year long

@joanboston thanks joan, I couldn't remember 😁

Easy to propagate too Dave, just look round the edge of the plant for little shoots and carefully pull them off. Pot them up and keep them cool an d moist, should root in a few weeks☺

Like the sound of that joan @joanboston .

Looking great :) it will flower next spring with pretty blue flowers x

Thinking about a couple of these around the tree fern 🤔

Morning Dave. I think that would look lovely. 💙💙

Love that foliage! Is that what it's called?

#brunnera @SylviaDavies

Morning Dave @davewrightjoinerygooglemail.co .......that'll look really nice. How's your new grandson may I ask :)

@flof1952 he's good thanks pauline. Went to see him last night. You forget how small they are when first born. 😊

@SylviaDavies it's a brunnera 'Alexander great. There's a few different ones all with great foliage.

So pleased for you all Dave @davewrightjoinerygooglemail.co ......they look so fragile as newborns don't they :)
